Type emojis in Google Docs comments
Google Docs hides emoji under Insert โ Emoji, a menu trip nobody makes for a comment. So review threads stay all text, and "looks good ๐" turns into "looks good.", which reads colder than you meant it.

Questions
Comments only, or the document itself?
Both. Comments are where it earns its keep, because Docs gives them nothing. The same codes work in the document body, which is where the arrows and checkmarks go.
Does it cover Sheets and Slides too?
Yes. All three use the same commenting component, and the extension treats them the same.
Will it trip over Docs keyboard shortcuts?
No. It wakes only on a colon followed by letters, so Ctrl shortcuts, @ mentions and the Insert menu all behave exactly as before.
