Box Double Horizontal symbol
Type :box_double_horizontal: · Box drawing
Unicode name Box Drawings Double Horizontal · Box Drawing block · added in Unicode 1.1, 1993
What ═ is for
The double horizontal run, and the heavier alternative to ─ when a box needs to stand out from the boxes around it. Double lines join to other double lines and not to the light set, so a box has to commit to one weight throughout.
