What ⚧ is for
The Venus circle carrying both the Mars arrow and a third arm that combines the two, so the symbol holds the whole set rather than choosing between them. It has been an ordinary Unicode character for years and only gained a colour emoji form in 2020, which is why the plain glyph is the one most documents already contain.
How to type ⚧
The shortcuts below are the built-in routes. With

installed you can skip all of them and type

is the same on every platform.
macOS
No direct shortcut. Use Edit → Emoji & Symbols, or switch to the Unicode Hex

Windows
No Alt code. In Word, type 26A7 then press Alt +
